Operating Engineers, Local 324 is a growing, dynamic enterprise. With membership throughout the entire state of Michigan, this Local Union continues to present new opportunities for its members.
Today’s Local 324 is a blend of the all-important, traditional heavy equipment operators who represent us daily in the building and construction market, along with a growing Shop Division membership and numerous public entities that have sought Local 324 representation.  With the collective efforts of our Stationary Division, we also add a multitude of equipment maintenance, public school and health care workers. Together, our collective membership prides itself on being leaders in today’s Michigan organized labor market.
